Katherine A. Kiziah is a Partner at Rafferty Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa, where her practice is dedicated to complex litigation involving product liability, mass torts, and pharmaceutical and medical device claims. Known for her meticulous case strategy and client-centered approach, Katherine has secured significant victories, including a multi-million-dollar settlement for consumers harmed by contaminated compounded medications.

Prior to joining RDCY, Katherine served as South Florida Bureau Chief for the State of Florida’s Office of the Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Unit. As both Bureau Chief and Assistant Attorney General, she led complex civil prosecutions addressing fraud in timeshares, telemarketing, internet schemes, and deceptive advertising. She worked alongside federal and state agencies in securing injunctions, asset freezes, and ultimately, criminal prosecutions against fraudulent corporations. Her pioneering efforts to dismantle large-scale tech support scams earned Florida the Federal Trade Commission’s inaugural Partnership Award and earned Katherine the distinction of Attorney of the Year by the Florida Attorney General’s Office. After her public service, Katherine joined Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, where she practiced for eight years as an associate, further developing her skills in complex civil litigation and consumer protection.

Katherine’s leadership extends well beyond the courtroom. She serves as Secretary of the Palm Beach County Justice Association, previously chaired its Women’s Caucus, and has been a member of its Board of Directors since 2021. She is a graduate of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Leadership Academy and currently co-chairs AAJ’s Surgical Stapler Litigation Group and Convention Committee for the Women’s Caucus. A past president of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Katherine is a frequent speaker and advocate for gender equity in the legal profession.

Katherine’s excellence has been recognized by numerous accolades, including Best Lawyers in America (Consumer Protection Law, 2025), Florida Trend Legal Elite, the Justice Barbara J. Pariente Award from FAWL, and consistent AV Preeminent ratings from Martindale-Hubbell since 2013. She is also a proud alumna of Leadership Palm Beach County, Class of 2021.

She is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Katherine holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law, a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, and a B.A. from the University of Florida.
