RDCY Celebrates Completion of Rafferty Center, Expanding Opportunities for Pensacola Youth
Rafferty Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa shareholder Troy Rafferty joined community leaders, supporters and families in Pensacola to celebrate the completion of the new Rafferty Center, a facility designed to expand athletic and educational opportunities for local youth.
The 10,000-square-foot center, located on West Gregory Street, will provide the Southern Youth Sports Association with additional space for youth sports, tutoring and after-school programs. The facility includes a multi-sport gym, spectator seating, classrooms, study areas and a concession stand, creating a dedicated environment where young people can participate in sports, learn and spend time with their community.
Rafferty, the center’s namesake, took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the project’s completion. The opening represents the culmination of an effort to create a permanent gathering place for young people while allowing SYSA to broaden its programming and serve more families in the surrounding Pensacola community.
