Fred Cunningham Co-Chairs Statewide Seminar on Insurance and Bad Faith Law

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (November 13, 2018) – Fred Cunningham, a shareholder at Rafferty Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa, co-chaired a seminar on insurance and bad faith law at the Florida Justice Association Masters of Justice convention on October 11, 2018. The program featured a panel of top trial attorneys from around the state who are experts in insurance litigation.

Mr. Cunningham has a national trial reputation for successfully resolving complex insurance bad faith cases, evidenced by close to $500 million in settlements and verdicts. His most recent result is an $8 million-dollar verdict against Mercury Insurance Company of Florida, proving the company acted in bad faith by failing to settle a quadriplegia claim against Mercury’s policyholder. In September, he won an appeal to the Florida Supreme Court in Suzanne Harvey, etc. v. Geico General Insurance Company in which the court affirmed the application of Florida bad faith law.
